Typical responsibilities of the Vice President position include managing the quantitative components related to: Developing credit risk models for ratings, default and loss estimation, and portfolio credit risk analytics on a wide variety of asset classes (e.g., corporate, small business, sovereign, retail assets); reviewing and validating clients' credit risk models using proprietary Fitch Risk modeling technology; assisting clients in evaluating and implementing structured credit products, securitization options, and Active Portfolio Management strategies; developing operational risk frameworks, strategies, and quantitative measurement models for a variety of financial and non-financial firms; developing leading operational risk measurement techniques with top tier financial institutions; reviewing, validating, or developing capital markets models, including Value-at-Risk, stress testing, extreme value theory, and dynamic financial analysis models; assisting in client marketing meetings designed to identify client needs and developing thought- leading solutions to advance client objectives.
